Charles Kellis, Owner: President

Landmark Owner and President Charles Kellis is responsible for the daily operations, client relations and business development of Landmark. Charles understands the big picture and has recruited a management team that draws on over 80 years of combined security expertise. Charles has built Landmark around the operating philosophy of "Professionalism in every area."

Prior to establishing Landmark in 2002, Charles spent seven years with one of the largest contract security companies in the nation, starting as a gate guard and advancing to a facility manager before starting his law enforcement career in 1993. During his 24 year law enforcement career, he held positions as patrol officer, field training officer, sergeant, interim chief of police, and city marshal. 

As an advanced police officer and security provider with over 30 years of experience, Charles has set the bar for shaping the security and service techniques that are used daily by Landmark's Security staff. Based on his extensive experience he was able to identify the needs of the security industry and has worked closely with the team to systematically compile best practices. These best practices are included in our extensive training regimen. Charles understands that the key to success in the security industry is to be responsive to the customer's needs and to provide quality service-oriented personnel at every client facility. 


Carolyn Kellis, Owner: Secretary/Treasurer

Landmark Owner and Secretary/Treasurer Carolyn Kellis is responsible for daily operations, directing all financial aspects of the business including accounting practices, budgeting, financial planning, interface with the financial community, financial analysis, and monitoring of financial performance.  Carolyn brings over 25 years of financial management experience and expertise to the Landmark organization.

Prior to establishing Landmark in 2002, Carolyn spent 16 years as the comptroller for a prominent architectural/engineering company and 10 years as the assistant property manager for an 844,000-sq.-ft. Class A office building in Irving/Las Colinas, Texas.


Natasha Brown, Regional Director of Strategic Planning

Landmark Regional Director of Strategic Planning, Natasha Brown, joined the Landmark team in August of 2017.  Natasha heads up all efforts of strategic planning and implementation for all areas within Landmark. She is responsible for the development and administration of standard operating procedures for the Human Resource, Operations, and Accounting departments at Landmark.

Natasha directly oversees the day-to-day operations to include managing staffing, scheduling, account management, training, field support, billing, and payroll. She is also involved in on the job training, employee, and client relations, as well as business development.

Prior to joining Landmark Protective Services, Natasha spent two years at Team Software (Scheduling & Accounting Software) in Omaha Nebraska where she was an Implementation Specialist.  Prior to working for Team, Natasha spent 20 years in the contract security sector.  During that time, she served in a number of positions including District Manager/Corporate Trainer, Branch Manager/Operations Manager over 19,000 contracted weekly hours, Recruiter/HR, and Regional Training Manger with two of the largest security companies in the nation.  Over the years, she has managed a diverse book of business ranging from commercial high-rise buildings to industrial and manufacturing sites.


Ron Brown, Service Manager

Landmark Manager of Operations Ron Brown joined the Landmark team in January 2014.  Ron directly manages staffing, scheduling, account management, training, field support, billing, and payroll. He is also involved in on the job training, employee, and client relations, as well as business development.

Prior to joining Landmark Protective Services, Ron spent 15 years in the USAF where he managed and supervised security and law enforcement personnel in tactical deployment and site security. After an early retirement, Ron joined one of the largest contract security companies in the nation and became Site Security Supervisor of one of the largest insurance companies in the world. During that time, he served in a number of positions including security officer, lead officer and security supervisor. Over the years, he also has managed a diverse book of business ranging from commercial high-rise buildings to industrial and manufacturing sites. He also has experience with patrol, government facilities, condominiums, and gated communities.

Ron has worked in positions where he managed over 100 employees, as well as people of diverse backgrounds.

Ron was also a Regional Security Manager where he was responsible for managing 24 locations and the day to day operations throughout the United States. He also has played a significant part in conducting physical security assessments as well as the revising of Security Operating Procedures, Emergency Evacuation Procedures and implementing training programs.
